With Thanksgiving a couple of weeks away, it is time to start planning your Thanksgiving Day eating strategy. If you have worked hard to eat a well balanced diet, you can still follow it on the big day and enjoy your favorite once a year treats.
If you can add one simple strategy to your Thanksgiving feast, it would be to first fill your plate with things that are fresh and of color. Enjoy those higher in calorie foods, but leave less room on your plate to control portion size. Try this Strawberry Quinoa Spinach Salad and have it be a side dish for your Thanksgiving meal this year.
