Sticking to an exercise program can be very difficult. However, I know a woman who lost over 20lbs and increased her exercise from walking .5 miles a day to consistently walking 3 miles a day.
How did she stay motivated?
She charted her progress. Each week, she logged her weight and kept a daily record of her exercise. On the days, she did not feel like exercising, she was motivated to continue as she looked back over her logs and reviewed her progress.
Who else did she motivate?
Me! As her 13 year old daughter, she inspired me to develop discipline and persevere when things got tough.
